Transmetropolitan was a game-changing book for many comic lovers. I know that it was for me. The combination of Warren Ellis’ writing and Darick Robertson’s art hooked me. The mix of politics, humour, and moral ambiguity wasn’t something I was used to in my comics, and I loved it.
Now it’s 10 years since the release of the final issue of Transmet, there’s been a kickstarter campaign to raise funds for an Art of Transmetropolitan book. They’ve made their initial goal, but donations are still welcome, and there are some amazing rewards. Take one look at the list of artists involved, and you’ll see that this book will be worth every penny.
You have six days left to donate! Check out the Kickstarter Campaign here.
